CONDOS: 320 WEST 115TH STREET TOWNHOUSE

Harlem Bespoke:  We had a chance to take a look at Number 320 West 115th Street which is a 34-foot-wide brownstone boutique condo that came about by combining two townhouses on a block located just west of lower FDB.  The top levels which include the penthouse sold right away based on asking prices north of $2.7 million and the two lower levels are only being shown as they finish up. Apartment 1 is now at that point and we were able to get a look inside the substantial 4-bedroom unit with direct elevator access.

As can be seen in the lower photo, paper still cover the wide plank, dark wood floors but everything does appear to be ready for a move-in when the time arrives.  We especially like the lofty living room which features a fireplace and the original arched windows that add quite a bit of character. There are also 3 baths in this home and each one has an updated look with classic details such as marble mosaic or the traditional subway  tiles.  There is also a laundry room behind the kitchen, a walking in closet and infrastructure upgrades which include the requisite HVAC throughout the house.  The broker mentioned that there are really not a lot of these truly boutique condos to be found in Manhattan these days since combining two brownstones tend to be harder to achieve and the demand is so high (and costly) for just even one of these historic buildings.  For photos, details, upcoming Open Houses and contact information, check out the broker site: LINK
