Harlem Bespoke: La Diagonal debuted on St. Nicholas and 119th Street earlier on in the 2017 and delivers some of the best artisanal Mexican offerings in town. Homemade blue tortilla and Peking duck tacos along with and excellent assortment of mezcal drinks are a standout at the 40-seater in the triangular intersection by the FDB commercial corridor. All of the wood marquetry, Spanish tiles along with the potted plants add warmth to the space which is missing at most modern establishments and the service is also quite on point. Higher end Mexican cuisine can be quite extraordinary if done right and La Diagonal is definitely worth the visit. More in our past post:
